About the role

This is an opportunity to join Rural Bank, the agri specialist arm of the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank group. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of administration services to meet client needs on behalf of the Agribusiness Relationship Manager. This challenging and varied role requires an experienced, professional team-player to work within a dynamic team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Draw on financial and agricultural knowledge to support relationship managers to better service their customers
  • Consistently delivers on the Bank’s promise to customers by meeting their needs; all enquiries are responded to in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide support to Manager/s regarding the preparation of credit proposals and other administrative tasks.
  • Analyse complex financial data to enable sound credit management decisions
  • Identify opportunities for deepening customer relationships and referring business opportunities to Banking and Referral partners as appropriate

 

About you

You will have experience in an administrative/customer service role ideally within the financial services or banking sector, experience in the agricultural industry would be highly regarded.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A financial and business understanding and be confident in communicating with clients and industry professionals
  • Experience in due diligence processes and ensuring quality financial analysis to assist in completing loan applications
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills, enthusiasm and a commitment to contribute to a team environment.
  • Experience in a banking environment or the agricultural industry. Remuneration will be commensurate with ability and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the dynamics of stakeholders and customers’ needs and provide solutions
