About the role 

Community Bank Augusta Margaret River is on the hunt for an energetic, driven individual to fill their Branch Manager position. They are embarking on some exciting initiatives so it’s an ideal time to get involved.

As Branch Manager you will be part of a branch that is involved in their local community. Your key responsibilities are people leadership, business development, coaching, customer acquisition, growth and supporting customers with your lending knowledge.

Flanked by national parks including towering forests, pristine coastlines and rugged granite outcrops, the Margaret River Region is regarded as the quintessential Western Australian destination. The Branch Manager at Community Bank Augusta Margaret River will be responsible for building the strategic plan to gain market share for the localised area, within both Augusta and Margaret River.  You will spend a large portion of your time utilising your business development skills to build long-term connections with local community groups, stakeholders and partners to drive business opportunities for the branch.   

This position is located at Community Bank Augusta Margaret River. The role is Permanent Full time, working 76 hours per fortnight.

About you

You’ll have:

  • Experience in Residential and Commercial lending (essential)
  • Understanding of financial management, business acumen and risk framework  
  • Embed operational and risk management practices through regular and clear communication on requirements
  • Knowledge of Loan Application Processing Systems and knowledge of Branch operations is required.

  • Establish and nurture business networks to build the branch profile in your local community and create an effective referrer network
