The Community Bank Daylesford District started operations in 2012 and has enjoyed significant earnings and footings growth since inception. The Community Bank is part of Bendigo Bank and is owned by Daylesford District Community Developments Limited (DDCDL). DDCDL has 200 shareholders, with its shares traded on a Low Volume Market, and is governed by a local volunteer Board of Directors.
A vacancy now exists for the role of Branch Manager to drive future growth.
The Branch is in Daylesford, about 1 hour’s drive north west of Melbourne in the heart of the central highlands of Victoria. The Daylesford/Hepburn area is well known for its proliferation of mineral springs and is a popular weekend destination for domestic and international tourists.
The Branch Manager has reporting lines to the Board on financial and staff matters and to Bendigo Bank on procedural and governance matters.
About the role
The Branch Manager at Community Bank Daylesford District will be responsible for working with the Board to implement the strategic plan to gain market share for the localised area. You will spend a large portion of your time utilising your business development skills to build long term connections with businesses, local community groups, stakeholders and partners to drive business opportunities for the branch.
