About the role  

The Branch Manager at Community Bank, Stanthorpe Branch will be responsible for contributing to the strategic plan to gain market share in our localised area.  You will spend a large portion of your time utilising your business development skills to build long-term connections with local businesses, community groups, stakeholders and partners to drive business opportunities for the branch.  

You will also play a critical role in coaching and developing the Stanthorpe team to be high performing, motivated and deeply engaged in what they do.

The role is a Permanent, Full-Time opportunity, the roster is 76 hours per fortnight.


About you

You’ll have:

  • Experience in Residential and Commercial lending (essential)
  • Have a real presence in the Community and a proven ability to establish relationships with local networks 
  • Understanding of financial management, business acumen and risk framework  
  • Embed operational and risk management practices through regular and clear communication on requirements
  • Knowledge of Loan Application Processing Systems and knowledge of Branch operations is required.
  • Courage and comfort in trying new things and think outside the box
