About the division

The Business Operations Team was formed to support the Business division teams to deliver expected business results. To achieve this, we will provide effective and efficient support, via a seamless approach encompassing one operations contact point for all enquiries.

Key responsibilities

The Business Operations Officer plays a key role in the Business Operations Centres, responsible for providing direct and indirect support to our Business Customers and broader business division. The team is responsible for facilitation fulfillment, daily operational management to our internal stakeholders and Business Customer.

A culture of operational excellence underpins this, with the delivery of a high performing and a multi-skilled and flexible workforce to support the Business Customer value proposition. Some key functions of the role include:

  • Monitoring and processing of Business Customer Compliance reporting
  • ‘Champion’ of all Reporting Dashboards (supply and analysis of key operational and performance reporting)
  • Identification, analysis, management, and reporting of operational and administrative duties in line with Operational Risk requirements for the business
  • Ownership and delivery of Back Office Service Catalogue within the agreed SLA’s
  • Providing fulfillment activities for Business Customer
  • General administration support

About you:

  • Proficient written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Highly accurate approach and processing skills with strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to manage and prioritise to dynamic workflows and deadlines
  • High level of literacy and numeracy skills
  • Knowledge of common software packages used by Business Banking including MS Office
  • Detailed understanding of the Business Banking end to end processes
  • Knowledge of the Banking systems, credit policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Understanding of the Banking change management processes
