Our goal to be Australia’s Bank of choice drives us to set the example of how banking should be: progressive, sustainable, shared, and trusted. To do this we need to be constantly changing and evolving, offering our customer’s creative and innovate products and services.

Our Change and Organisation Design team are embedding how change is designed, delivered, and measured across the enterprise, working on large profile transformational programs of work. Engaging with teams across the Enterprise to prioritise the right changes at the right times, minimising risk, realising the benefits, and most importantly ensuring these changes land positively with our people.

We currently have a program of large-scale workforce change that requires a dynamic Change Manager to come on board from initial scoping and deliver end to end change. This role will support delivery of new systems, technology, business processes, as well as operating model changes, and most importantly ensure all stakeholders, employees, and customers are effectively communicated to, remaining engaged and prepared to receive the changes.

All your change management experience can be combined in an open-minded environment where your ideas and input are valued. Be part of an organisation where you’ll be given ownership and have the ability to influence at all levels.

This is 12-month fixed term position and ideally will be based in one of our main office locations in Melbourne, Bendigo, Adelaide, Brisbane, or Sydney for the days that you’re in the office, and then other days you’ll be working from home to help better balance your life and work.

  • Plan and drive execution of all business change activities associated with this workforce change program of work
  • Conduct detailed impact assessment workshops with impacted stakeholder groups and develop mitigation activities to ensure adoption of the change
  • Drive change readiness and adoption by developing appropriate interventions to inspire, engage and achieve adoption
  • Apply and embed our Change Management Framework, supporting agile practices and processes
  • Identify, manage, and resolve of high impact risks and issues
  • Actively contribute to the continual improvement of Change frameworks, methods, and tools
  • Collaborate with your team, key stakeholders, and project and business resources, build capability and foster a continuous learning culture

To be successful in the role, you'll have:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing change plans on large scale enterprise-wide projects involving technology and people changes in complex, matrixed organisations
  • Proven capabilities developing and executing change program strategies
  • Experience working on organisational change initiatives particularly around communication of technology changes and adoption
  • Experience with deployment and communication of operating model and structure changes
  • High level consulting skills, being able to confidently influence, engage and partner
  • Experience using agile tools (eg. JIRA, Confluence, Rally)
  • Advanced PC skills (Visio, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
