We have laid down the groundwork for an experienced Employer Brand Specialist to join the bank’s internal talent team and continue the development of our employer brand and recruitment marketing. In fact, we are a nominee in the 2020 Internal Talent Awards, in the category of “Excellence in Employer Branding”!

The Opportunity

In the past 18 months, Bendigo and Adelaide Bank has made a significant investment in the uplift of our recruitment and talent acquisition function. We have built new teams, refined policies, embedded and refined new processes, invested in technology, and have well and truly commenced the journey towards a best-practice recruitment function. We partner with all divisions of the Group to guide and promote talent capability uplift, futureproofing our workforce and customer experience.

This is a very overused phrase - but this is a rare opportunity. Here's why. There are very few large, well known, Australian organisations who are creating and building this work, from this point. This is a career bolstering role, where you will initially own the creation and delivery of signature pieces of work. Within the bank’s People and Culture division, this is a newly created role born out of organic growth, reporting to the Senior Manager, Recruitment.  

About You

As our ideal candidate, here's what we would be hoping to learn about you;

  • Experience (5 years+) in marketing/communications, ideally with employer brand OR in-depth recruitment experience, with recruitment marketing and/or employer brand
  • Understanding of modern recruitment practices and industry
  • Experience within a highly complex organisation(s), ideally with multiple brands and stakeholders
  • Experience working with job boards and social platforms, with PageUp knowledge a definite advantage
  • A creative copywriter, with experience creating rich content
  • Fun. We want energy and innovation and find they go hand in hand!

Provided you have an internet connection within Australia, your work location is flexible. On the Sunshine Coast? Lucky you. A metropolitan Melbournite? How delicious is Chin Chin. RADelaide based? Heaps good. You must be comfortable with working remotely and building connections, networks, and friendships via screen power. But as a tech wizard, we're sure you will be!
