Our Digital Marketing team develop digital marketing strategies for the group that deliver commercial outcomes and continued growth ensuring that we remain at the forefront in our industry.

We currently have a permanent opportunity for a Head of Digital Marketing to lead a centre of excellence and execute our group wide digital marketing strategy across digital communications, digital performance marketing, reporting and analysis of digital marketing, and ownership of marketing platforms. Partnering with the Group Marketing leadership team and key business leaders you’ll facilitate the development of appropriate Digital Marketing strategies, plans, operating and engagement methods, budgets, and structures to deliver on Customer Business commercial targets and goals.

Reporting into the General Manager of Marketing you’ll be responsible for developing and delivering the digital marketing strategy, including the  digital platform roadmap,  and the creation, delivery, and refinement of effective campaigns executed with excellence.

Leading and coaching a team of trusted subject matter experts your focus will be to develop and inspire high performance of a results driven function providing best in class digital marketing solutions. Bringing your expert knowledge of emerging digital trends to foster an environment of innovation to explore new ways to effectively drive customer acquisition and retention with digital solutions.

This role can be based in any of our main office locations: Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, or Bendigo for the days that you’re in the office, other days you’ll work from home to better balance your life and work.


As the Head of Digital Marketing you will:

  • Lead the development of the digital marketing plan for the group including performance digital and always on activity
  • Create, deliver, and refine effective campaigns that support the objectives and targets of the customer businesses
  • Work with the tech and data teams to ensure the right digital marketing platforms are in place
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and with executional excellence
  • Prepare and manage digital marketing budget
  • Lead and inspire a team of high performing Digital Marketing professionals to develop and execute Digital Marketing plans for the group
  • Represent the Digital Marketing Team at key business meetings, represent the Group with major partners, industry organisations, and external stakeholders
  • Utilise a broad range of customer, business, and industry sources to develop digital insights enabling identification of opportunities
  • Lead the development of digital and lifecycle dashboards for activity across all customer businesses
  • Develop regular campaign and activity reporting and present insights to key stakeholders in the business


To be successful in the role, you'll have:

  • A relevant degree in Strategic Marketing, Marketing, or Business Management
  • Extensive knowledge of Digital Marketing and all relevant disciplines
  • In depth knowledge of digital marketing communications, channels and technologies including but not limited to web and marketing automation platforms and capabilities
  • Extensive experience and understanding of digital platforms, software and channels e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Social platform capability, digital media channels
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills to lead strategies and drive cultural change across the team
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior leader or board level
  • Strong presentation skills to deliver formally to both internal and external audiences
  • Ability to identify digital opportunities and leverage changes or trends across Australia’s Banking and Financial Services industry
