Lending Officer - Post Settlement Lending Variations

About the role

The Lending Officer reports to Team Manager – Post Settlement Lending Variations with key responsibilities relating to credit review and assessment of variations for Home and Small Business customer of Bendigo Bank. This includes the review of customers financial position to meet credit and lending policy and the approval for variations to our customers security and loan products. This role plays an important role in a customer’s loan life cycle and has a strong relationship to our lenders within Local Connection & Business Banking.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience in consumer processing and undertaking credit reviews and assessments for Home and Small Business Lending is highly desirable
  • Knowledge or Responsible Lending Practices
  • Knowledge of the National Credit Code and Code of Banking Practice is preferred
  • DLA preferred
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to meet tight times frames and deadlines
  • Proactive and energetic disposition with a commitment in the delivery of exceptional customer service.
  • High level of accuracy with a strong attention to detail
