This might not look like a typical job advertisement from a bank, because it’s not! This is an awesome opportunity for a natural go-getter and people connector.
Our Delphi Bank Oakleigh Branch has served the local community for 20 years. Recently we undertook an exciting branch refresh so that we can change the way we interact with our customers and community. We have a new and unique space in-branch where we can help the people in our local community to connect with each other and with us. To help us do this we are bringing a new person in to the team.
As a Local Engagement Officer (affectionately known as LEO!) you’ll proactively engage and connect our Brand with our community. You will be responsible for managing the community space in the branch and this will involve meeting with local groups and small business to generate interest in the use of space, coordinating and attending events, and creating and growing relationships with key stakeholders in the local area to ensure ongoing interest and awareness of what we are doing. You’ll play a key role in creating positive in-branch experiences for our customers and local community members through the utilisation of our new space in ways that will be valued by our community, such as events and retail pop-up shops.
This is a full time permanent position with flexible work options available. Based predominantly in our Oakleigh branch, at times you will also be involved in activities with our other South East branches.
At Delphi Bank, not only does our name ‘Delphi’ symbolise a strong connection to our Hellenic roots, but it also most importantly represents a journey of growth and opportunity.

As we continue to grow together, we provide our customers, their families and their businesses with new opportunities, through our ongoing commitment to engaging, investing, and sponsoring organisations and events in our local community.
Relationships are the key to our success, and we take the values that the Hellenic culture is known for like family, food, culture, music and entrepreneurialism and apply them to our relationship model to form a deep and personal connection with our customers and their families.
