Our Marketing team produces rich, multi-channel campaign experiences to ensure that we remain at the forefront in our industry.  It’s an exciting time here at the bank as we are launching new product offerings, uplifting our data analytics capabilities, and increasing customer acquisition across the portfolio.


It’s a time of growth and to support this we have an opening for a Marketing Manager to join our Business and Agribusiness Marketing team.  Your focus will be on our Agribusiness customers and the Rural Bank Brand.

With a remit to bring in a fresh new approach to Agribusiness marketing, you’ll work across this dynamic portfolio for our partners and agricultural customers to build, plan and execute targeted marketing activity, bringing your deep knowledge and skills in proposition development, product marketing, digital marketing, content management, and media buying.

You’ll be able to combine your customer led approach and expert influencing skills as you navigate a diverse network of Agri specialist stakeholders. Engaging across the enterprise to brief in work and deliver campaigns you will gain exposure and demonstrate how you can add value at all levels. You’ll be given ownership to influence change and challenge the status quo, with plenty of scope to further your own learning and development.

Whilst this is an autonomous role, you’ll be part of a friendly and collaborative team of experienced marketers who always have each other’s back and are passionate about what they do. All your experience and creative ideas can be combined within a non-hierarchical, open-minded environment.

This is a permanent, full-time position with flexible work options and we are open to considering applicants from all locations.


As the Marketing Manager you will:

  • Develop and execute Agri Banking campaigns that deliver results
  • Understand the right times to market to this all-important audience
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to develop content and go to market plans
  • Brief creative, media and internal teams on campaign requirements
  • Manage budget, and best allocation across channels, initiatives, and media
  • Brief relevant analytics and reporting requirements to measure campaign performance
  • Prepare and present regular campaign reports and insights to key stakeholders and senior management
  • Work closely and effectively with all group marketing team members and stakeholders to develop and execute successful marketing activity / initiatives


To be successful in the role, you'll have:

  • Prior experience in a Marketing Manager or Senior Campaign Manager role with an Agri specialisation
  • Proven capabilities developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns, including marketing via traditional and digital media channels
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand core business and marketing metrics
  • Expert negotiation and influencing skills to lead marketing activity and campaigns
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting data, analysis and market research into actionable insights and post campaign reports
  • A deep understanding of core marketing concepts and sales strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to formally present to internal and external audiences
  • The ability to think creatively, challenge the status quo, and apply innovative solutions
