Our Consumer Banking Marketing team produce rich, campaign experiences, acknowledging customer’s choices to ensure that we remain at the forefront in our industry by delivering customer and revenue growth.

We have a permanent opportunity for a Marketing Manager to help develop our Third Party banking marketing plan and deliver targeted marketing initiatives for our mortgage broker customers. Reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager, you will be results driven, motivated by learning, and love to execute effective campaigns that deliver customer and commercial growth.

This is an exciting hands-on role requiring you to engage and partner across the business with internal sales teams, business heads, digital and creative teams to brief in work and deliver projects and campaigns. As campaign owner you will develop insight driven campaign strategies, set commercial targets, measure and share results. We love continuous improvement, so using insightful results to inform and optimise new campaigns will be part of your marketing DNA.

You’ll be part of a tight-knit, collaborative team who share their workload, are supportive, and bounce ideas off each other. While being geographically dispersed the team are virtually connected and catch up daily. This role can be based in any of our main office locations: Adelaide, Bendigo, Melbourne, or Sydney for the days that the team are in the office together, and then other days you’ll be working from home to help better balance your life and work.


As the Marketing Manager you will:

  • Develop and execute B2B campaigns that deliver results
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate marketing plans specific to third party banking products
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop content for state-based marketing campaign management
  • Work with the sales team to implement relevant marketing activations and communications
  • Brief internal creative teams, and at times external media agencies on requirements
  • Develop relevant analytics and reporting to measure performance of marketing campaign activities
  • Prepare and present regular campaign reports and insights to key stakeholders and senior management
  • Develop and foster successful relationships with team members and stakeholders


To be successful in the role, you'll have:

  • A tertiary degree in Marketing or relevant related discipline
  • Significant previous experience in a Marketing Manager or Senior Campaign Manager role
  • A strong understanding of Australia’s banking and finance industry with the ability to identify opportunities and leverage changes or trends
  • Proven capabilities developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns, including marketing via traditional and digital media, below the line channels, inbound and social media
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills to lead marketing activity and campaigns
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting data, analysis and market research into actionable insights and post campaign reports
  • A deep understanding of core marketing concepts and sales strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to formally present to internal and external audiences
  • The ability to think creatively, challenge the status quo, and apply innovative solutions
