Our goal to be Australia’s Bank of choice drives us to set the example of how banking should be: progressive, sustainable, shared, and trusted.

We are excited to have recently launched a new People Advisory Centre (PAC) within our People & Culture function. This team is responsible for delivering accurate and timely advice on people-related policies, procedures, and people programs to leaders and our staff enterprise-wide. PAC is the centre of excellence for generalist advice, the face of People & Culture, and accountable for delivering trusted and outstanding service to the bank’s people.

We have a 9-month fixed term opportunity for a People Operations Administrator where you’ll be responsible for processing the day-to-day inbound requests for the operations stream of PAC. A critical role delivering administrative activities related to onboarding new staff, background and due diligence checks, staff movements, off-boarding, and people program support.

No two days will be the same as you switch between actioning leaders requests for staff movements, producing letters of offer for employees new to the bank, contractor extension requests, processing Service Awards for staff celebrating key milestones, offboarding support including initiating exit interviews, terminating in appropriate systems, and processing invoices across People Operations ensuring that all requests are actioned consistently with a high level of accuracy within agreed service response times.

With prior experience in a People & Culture operational or administrative function from a large complex environment you will bring your strong attention to detail, passion for delivering outstanding customer service, and an eye for continuous process improvement. You can make this role your own by challenging the status quo and identifying opportunities to automate or further refine the operating model.

Join a People & Culture function whose vision is to grow a community where we want to work, where we are valued, and where we belong. You’ll join a close-knit team that are geographically dispersed but virtually connected and be part of an organisation where your work will be valued, and your input and ideas are always welcome.

We will consider applicants based anywhere in Australia, and we’re open to people working remotely. So, this role can be based where you live, or it could be based at one of our corporate office locations: Bendigo, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Ipswich, Sydney, or Perth. Our Managing Director has spoken publicly on many occasions about our Bank providing an opportunity for its employees to live and work where they love, instead of having to live where they work.
