About the role 

Internally known as the Relationship Consultant, you’ll need to be an enthusiastic self-starter with a passion for meeting people. Dee Why are seeking a Relationship Consultant to join their dynamic, close-knit and community minded team.  

The Relationship Consultant role provides a seamless branch experience by meeting customers end-to-end banking needs across transaction activities, exploring needs and circumstances and providing consumer lending and other financial solutions relevant to their lifestyle. You will demonstrate a high level of ownership which is based on building strong relationships with new and existing customer and the wider community. You will actively engage our customers to explore the best products and services to suit their needs. 

This position is located predominantly at the Dee Why Branch, however on occasion you may be asked to work at our Leichhardt or Paramatta Branches (an attractive travel allowance will be added to weekly salary to compensate for this inconvenience). The role is Permanent, Full-Time. The roster is 76 hours per fortnight. 


About you

We are looking for someone keen to learn and progress in their career. A Relationship Consultant will bring: 

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales results through solutions which truly meet the customer’s needs 

  • The ability to effectively communicate with new and existing customers face-to-face and over the phone 

  • Highly developed relationship-building skills 

  • A willingness to get involved in local community engagement activities and to share with others what makes our bank different 

  • Experience in consumer lending (personal loans and credit card) and the banking and finance industry would be advantageous
