Do more, dream more, become more. Welcome to Bendigo.
Bendigo Bank, in particular our branch network, is in the process of significant reinvention, and even in a constantly changing financial landscape with no absolutes, we are convinced there will always be a place for our Bank and what we represent - putting our people, customers and communities at the heart of everything we do.
We are looking for an experienced people leader with demonstrated capability to continue to drive and implement our Local Banking Strategy throughout their dedicated region and to ensure those strategies are understood and well executed by their staff.
The key to your success is your ability to lead and inspire your team and help them create strategies to grow the book, enhance the customer experience and develop capability within the team.
You will be involved in recruiting future Branch leaders, ensuring their staff members have the appropriate level of training and skills to do the job, managing performance gaps, and assisting with ongoing development and career progression.
Where relevant and required, you will partner with Community Banks, the wider business and also ensure that staff are able to work together within their team and collaboratively across the business, seeking win-win solutions for customers of the bank that meet their needs, objectives and interests.
We need a leader capable of developing people and business outcomes - someone who is engaging, open-minded and empowering. You will enhance the collaboration of our teams, bring new ideas, think big and challenge the status quo.
Key requirements of the role include:
There's so much more to a career with Bendigo Bank than just banking. You bring your brilliant mind, and we’ll help you take your learning to the next level with on-the-job training and external development opportunities - we want you to shine. After all, YOU are the difference that makes us the better big bank.
At Bendigo Bank we believe a diverse workforce supported by an inclusive culture is central to our success and we actively encourage applications from those who bring diversity of thought to our business. We support candidate requests for adjustment to accommodate an illness, injury or disability to equitably participate in the selection process.
We’re big enough to offer you every opportunity, but not so big that we lose the community feel that we’re famous for. You can be bold and take calculated risks, knowing you have the backing of your team and leaders. Join us in walking the talk when it comes to supporting our customers, giving back and making our communities a better place.
Be the difference. Be part of Bendigo Bank.
