About the Team

The Finance Information Delivery business unit generates and disseminates reporting, dashboards and analysis tools to the Group on a mix of financial and non-financial results. The Finance Reporting business unit is a team of professionals with the ability, aspirations and engagement to analyse, design, develop, test and transition change throughout the organisation with a particular focus on TechnologyOne reporting and dashboards.

Reporting and analysis from this business unit covers all levels within the Group from branch manager through to Board.

About the Role

The Reporting Analyst provides expertise and solutions in the office automation area to the wider Group as and when required.  The role therefore contributes to the vision, values and strategy of the organisation by enabling the provision of timely and effective reporting and data analysis in an efficient and cost-effective manner. 

An internal customer focus and effective communication skills demonstrate our corporate values and ensure our continued relevance, enabling our customers and their communities to be successful.  This is effectively demonstrated through building strong relationships with key stakeholders from across the organisation who rely on accurate and timely information.

The successful candidates will support the continuous improvement, coaching and building capability in our technical systems and tools to enhance the reporting and leveraging efficiencies.

Experience, skills and capabilities

• Well-developed report writing skills with the ability to write clear, articulate and concise reports
• Expert knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel, Power BI and other Microsoft Office applications
• Proficient knowledge of MS Access, SQL and database concepts
• Management Accounting and Financial analysis skills
• Experience and competency with Technology One would be preferable
• Experience in raw data collection from disparate sources, manipulation and conversion processes for the creation of useful input/output
• Self-starter with a drive to instigate initiatives and changes
• Be solution driven with creative and lateral thinking
• Demonstrated experience in being able to adapt proactively to customer needs and manage expectations.
