About the team and role

Known internally as an Assistant Property Specialist you will report to a Senior Property Relationship Manager and work closely with them to manage a portfolio of property developers, including Bendigo Bank’s largest and most high-profile client: a prominent property developer specialising in land subdivisions. Customer relationships and transactions can be of a unique and complex nature requiring an advanced ability to meet challenges and provide solution-based outcomes.

In this role you will:

• Develop strong relationships with a small set of customers and ensure an efficient and amazing service is provided
• Financial analysis, security structuring, completion of complex credit submissions
• Manage the end-to-end loan application process, accurately prepare and administer loan files, annual reviews
• Conduct customer needs analysis to match appropriate products and support cross selling opportunities

 

This is a full time, permanent position.  You can be based almost anywhere in Victoria, with preferences being Bendigo and Melbourne to enable face to face contact with your manager and customers, plus we support a hybrid way of working with flexible work options available.

 

 

Does this sound like you?

• Customers are front of mind in everything you do
• Advanced credit and financial analysis skills with experience structuring complex credit papers is essential
• Success in building strong stakeholder and customer relationships
• Good understanding of commercial markets (commercial property experience highly desirable)
• Advanced experience and understanding of the end-to-end lending process
• Confidence and ability to influence and negotiate while co-presenting at the Credit Committee
• Self-motivated and proactive with effective planning and time management skills
