About the role

The Senior Branch Manager will lead and be responsible for 5 outlets across Lang Lang, Pearcedale, Koo Wee Rup, Narre Warren & Tooradin & Coastal branches.

You will lead strategic, business and community aspects of the company to ensure success and overall financial performance 

This role will also motivate, manage, empower and develop a team to deliver local banking solutions for our customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Developing high quality business strategies and plans ensuring alignment with the Company strategy, including short-term and long-term goals
  • Making high quality investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits
  • Reviewing financial reports to devise solutions for improvements
  • Establish and build business networks to build our profile across the region and create an effective referral network 
  • Leading and motivating staff to advance employee engagement and develop a high performing team
  • Embed operational and risk management practices through regular and clear communication

 

About you

  • Experience of working/managing a franchised business or in a proven leadership role
  • Proven experience to build and execute a strategic plan for the market
  • Strong communication skills to deliver clear expectations
  • Proven sales leadership through implementing strategy to drive business
  • Strong relationship management with ability to effectively network and engage with your community and partners
  • People leadership with the ability to develop, coach and manage staff performance
  • Understanding of financial management, business acumen and risk framework
  • Experience with successfully leading teams across multiple sites would be desirable
  • Ability to analyse and understand financial reports and statements
  • Effective and influential presentation and public speaking skills
  • Banking and lending experience is desirable.
