About the role

The Senior Manager Operational Risk is a leadership role responsible for guiding a small team of risk and compliance professionals to ensure that all risk objectives are delivered appropriately and on time and are being escalated where relevant.
The role is responsible for the further development, implementation and management of the first line (1LOD) risk framework for the Digital function and Up Digital Bank.
The role will be an integral part of the Digital and Up Leadership teams and will report to the General Manager Digital Banking. The role is key in leading and driving operational risk strategy not just across Digital and Up Digital Bank but across the broader organisation
The role will report to the General Manager Digital Banking but have an indirect reporting relationship to the Chief Executive, Up Digital Bank, providing a service across both functions.
You will have significant experience in a Senior Manager role, preferably with an operational risk and compliance focus. And have experience in formulating and implementing Operational Risk policy in accordance with the Group Operational Risk Framework.
