Having set a three-year strategy to be the best in class, the Group Marketing team create customer-centric content and creative campaigns through centres of excellence, delivering a service that is second to none!

We currently have a permanent opportunity for a Senior Manager Marketing Operations within our Brand, Media and Content team leading a team of five to coordinate effective end-to-end workflow for campaigns across our centres of excellence.

The role’s operational focus includes account management, traffic management, and continuous process improvement. You’ll be responsible for developing and implementing frameworks and processes to guide and manage projects from initial brief through to completion. Using your experience and understanding of efficient workflow concepts to strategically resource projects, identify opportunities for process improvements, and maintain and enhance the systems and tools to deliver on cost and to timelines. As an expert in stakeholder engagement you’ll liaise internally in and outside of Group Marketing, with external agencies and partners, as well as engage with the senior leadership team.

We will consider applicants based anywhere in Australia, and we’re open to people working remotely. So, the role can be based where you live, or it could be based at one of our main office locations: Bendigo, Melbourne, Adelaide, or Sydney. As the Senior Manager Marketing Operations you will:

  • Work with Head of Consumer and Business Marketing Customer, Head of Digital, Head of Brand, Media and Content and Senior Marketing Managers to ensure that the priority of the centres of excellence is aligned to strategy
  • Oversee multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines, develop and implement frameworks and processes in relation to workflow
  • Oversee centres of excellence resources and update key stakeholders on any issues including where external resources are required to deliver projects
  • Ensure that campaign/project milestones are met according to brief, budget, resource, and deadline deliverables
  • Be custodian of the Bank’s marketing systems, ensuring that platforms are relevant and effective, and the right tools and technology are enabled
  • Design and implement ways the team can improve its operating rhythm ensuring the team are resourced and supported appropriately
  • Provide leadership to create a highly engaged, positive and productive team, ensuring ongoing team development and success

 

To be successful in the role, you'll have:

  • A relevant tertiary degree in Marketing, Design, Brand, or other relevant discipline
  • Demonstrated high performance and experience in a similar role managing marketing operations in a large complex organisation
  • Proven experience delivering results, including ability to lead and influence stakeholders at all levels internally and externally
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills, able to quickly build and maintain effective relationships
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills, with well-developed problem-solving abilities
  • The ability to influence, work collaboratively ,excel under pressure, and meet deadlines
  • Proven capabilities in thinking big to deliver innovative strategic solutions
