We look at compliance and risk differently at Bendigo and Adelaide Bank.
We’re building a cross-divisional approach to compliance and risk.
We promote a positive risk culture and behaviours across the bank and collaborative relationships with regulators. Our values set us apart from other organisations and underpin everything we do, including our approach to compliance and risk.
We're on a transformation journey across the bank, and we're making sure our approach to compliance and risk transforms with us. We're reducing complexity and changing our operating model. We're solidifying a consistent compliance approach across the bank and enabling us to work more effectively across our Business, Consumer and Rural divisions, opening up broader career paths and development opportunities for our staff.

New to this area is a centralised compliance function that has been established to provide compliance support to the teams mentioned and also help promote greater consistency across BEN where similar compliance issues affect multiple Business Units more generally.
