We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Marketing Manager to join our team on a 12 month maximum term contract.  You will execute our Marketing strategy for the Third Party Banking arm of our business. Leading and coaching a small team of subject matter experts your focus will be to develop, deliver, and review best in class Marketing activity for our Brokers driving acquisition, growth, and retention to align with our overarching Group Marketing strategy.


Supporting the Head of Consumer Marketing to build data driven insights programs, using metrics to provide recommendations for optimization and innovation to launch new products. This role will intersect and collaborate with a large network of internal stakeholders across many varied divisions enterprise-wide, so your ability to build strong relationships and negotiate with influence will be key to your success in bringing everyone together.

Ideally this role will be based in one of our main office locations: Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, or Bendigo, however we’re also open to people working remotely and will consider applicants based anywhere in Australia. As the Senior Marketing Manager you will:

  • Support the Head of Consumer Marketing to develop artifacts: Marketing Strategy, Budget, Annual Marketing plan, Quarterly Marketing plan, Quarterly targets and initiatives, regular communications, and presentations
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of subject matter experts
  • Develop and foster influential relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders, actively seeking new opportunities to positively influence business outcomes and demonstrating and building their knowledge of the commercial value Marketing can deliver
  • Work with Marketing specialists to develop the channel strategy aligned to the Marketing plan
  • Identify and explore opportunities to develop Marketing initiatives utilising various media
  • Launch new products using customer insights and data to build the go to market plans and execute
  • Develop relevant analytics and reporting to measure performance of marketing activities and provide recommendations



To be successful in the role, you'll have:

  • Prior experience in a Senior Marketing Manager role, ideally from a large complex organisation
  • Prior experience in leading and developing a team
  • Demonstrated expertise in launching products including go to market strategies and implementation
  • Proven capability in developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns via traditional and digital media channels; inbound and social media
  • Advanced knowledge of insights derived from post campaign reporting and analysis to inform strategic and tactical roadmaps
  • Advanced stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Strong presentation skills to deliver formally to both internal and external audiences
  • Highly developed commercial acumen, understanding core business and marketing metrics
