The Customer Relationship and Interaction Management Service is within the Customer and Data Enablement Practice. The Practice drives the enabling capabilities to onboard and connect with our customers, and the modernisation and simplification of our data ecosystem to enable us to derive value from our data.

Ultimately, this team will enable the delivery of seamless, simple and consistent customer experiences.

About the role
The Siebel Developer is a member of a cross functional team and will be responsible to develop and enhance the Siebel CRM Application, including detailed design, configuration, documentation, testing and deployment, to meet the requirements and acceptance criteria detailed in user stories and other functional specification documents.

As a Senior Developer within the team you may also take on other functional roles within the team (e.g. Iteration Management), coordinate Chapters or Guilds and take a collaborative approach to coaching and mentoring junior team members.  


Key responsibilities include

  • Perform detailed design of Siebel Application and Siebel Integration components
  • Create and modify Siebel objects as defined to meet the user stories
  • Develop and document error handling, risk mitigation and bug notification for all scripted solutions
  • Provide unit system testing and documentation for all code delivered to QA
  • Ensure that all development items follow the defined SDLC and task tracking process and provide necessary documentation for Change Managements
  • Support iteration management with story sizing, flow of work, technical risk and sequencing of work
  • Perform release planning, implementation, and code reviews

 

 

 

About you

  • Extensive Siebel Configuration and Programming experience (Siebel 8.x and later, ideally IP20)
  • Strong knowledge of Siebel Architecture, Configuration and Environment Management
  • Ability to translate functional requirements and documentation to Siebel technical specifications
  • Experienced in SQL queries and event driven configuration (Workflow Policies and Run-time Events)
  • Proven understanding of Agile ways of working (eg. pair programming, continuous build, test driven development etc)
  • Experience with Siebel Developer Tools, Business Objects, Data Layer and Workflow
  • Experience with Siebel Open UI (Physical Model, Presentation Model, file structures and limitations)
  • Proven experience in successful development and delivery of at least one complex full lifecycle Siebel implementation
  • As an advantage you will benefit from experience with banking, Siebel UCM, OEDQ, EIM and EAI
