About the role 

Internally known as the Relationship Consultant, you’ll need to be an enthusiastic self-starter with a passion for meeting people. Wyong are seeking a Trainee Relationship Consultant to join their dynamic, close-knit and community minded team.  

The Relationship Consultant role provides a seamless branch experience by meeting customers end-to-end banking needs across transaction activities, exploring needs and circumstances and providing consumer lending and other financial solutions relevant to their lifestyle. 

You will be given the guidance you need to do what you do best – listening to customers and using your skills to help them with transactions, provide education on our online platforms and tools, recommend the banks products and services, and assist our customers achieve their financial goals. 

We will support you to achieve a Certificate IIII in Business. This is undertaken as paid on-the-job training within work hours and in conjunction with a Registered Training Organisation. In return you’ll receive a 12 month Full-Time Contract, with salary paid based on the National Training Award. 


About you 


  • Can quickly learn new systems and processes 

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales results through solutions which truly meet the customer’s needs 
  • Confidently talk to customers face to face and over the telephone  

  • A willingness to get involved in local community engagement activities and to share with others what makes our bank different 

  • Hold a strong desire to find solutions that truly meet customer needs 

  • Have experience in the customer service- though this is a plus but certainly not essential, we understand that you may be starting out in your professional career
