I love my job because every day truly is different, with new challenges and situations to keep me focused and interested. I look after personal lending, or credit cards and personal loans, and it gives me a chance to build strong relationships with our customers. I love this, because it's so satisfying making sure I can match them to the products that are best for them. I also get to work with some of our business customers, which I also love.
I love having meaningful conversations with my customers to help them achieve their financial goals - I enjoy exploring financial options to put them in a better position. Assisting a customer through a big life decision is something I am proud of; whether it is buying their first home or their first car, transitioning into retirement or opening their first bank account to start their savings journey.
It’s important to me our customers feel supported in the good times, but also the difficult times.
Building rapport between the bank and our customers is important to me as it builds trust allowing customers to feel more comfortable doing business with us – though my position as a Personal Banker I can demonstrate this on a daily basis.
