About the role and team

We have a full-time permanent opportunity for a Reward, Performance and Governance Advisor to join the team. The Reward, Performance and Governance team drives the reward strategy across the Group, and provides design, management, reporting, analysis, advisory, communication and support services to the Group on employee remuneration, benefits, equity schemes, superannuation, performance management, recognition, and people-related governance.   

As the Reward, Performance and Governance Advisor you’ll get to: 

  • Provide best practice advice and analytical support to our P&C team and leaders in the business on remuneration, performance matter and benefits matters. 
  • Be an integral contributor to the delivery of the annual end of review process, including planning, communication, delivery and on-line system management and training. 
  • Contribute to the implementation and delivery of remuneration and benefits policies and practices across the organisation.   
  • Support and deliver adhoc projects or initiatives across the team, including support setting strategies, including fixed and variable compensation, employee benefits, performance and recognition programs that drive a high-performance culture aligned to our strategic deliverables. 
  • Lead and support projects relating to performance, reward and governance initiatives. 

You’ll be part of a high performing, highly collaborative, experienced and knowledgeable team, who love what they do!   

Ideally this role will be based in one of our main office locations in Bendigo, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane for the two days per week that you’re in the office, noting that hybrid ways of working are core to how we operate today.   

About you 

To be successful in the role, you’ll have: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, Human Resources highly desirable, or a related discipline or equivalent knowledge 
  • Demonstrated experience in providing high quality consulting with stakeholders to understand issues and opportunities and providing general advice on remuneration and benefits 
  • Extensive use of HRIS/remuneration systems including data maintenance, analysis and reporting 
  • Sound financial and data analytical ability and quantitative skills, intermediate financial modelling skills 
  • Sound communication, influencing and interpersonal skills and confident in building relationships with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation 
  • Experience in banking or financial services advantageous
