About the role

As a member of Treasury & Balance Sheet Service within the Group Support Practice, you will work alongside other Service and Charter members with various stakeholders both in business and within the Group Support Practice in supporting initiatives, collecting and interpreting business needs to understand and define the technical requirements to meet our regulatory, risk and compliance obligations.

In this role you will get to:

  • Support the shaping of initiatives by liaising with a range of stakeholders to get high level scope and objectives to define technical requirements.
  • Undertake detailed analysis of the technical requirements and support the solution design of outcomes to meet the needs, including documenting specifications.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, re-use of existing capabilities and removal of inefficient data delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce tech debt.
  • Enable the initiatives to meet schedule, business and budget objectives.
  • Work through the assigned tasks, to ensure efficient completion and achieve successful outcomes for the business.

About you 

You will have extensive experience in a Senior Technical Business Analyst role in financial risk management, preferably within Banking or Financial Services.

You will have:

  • Experience on FIS platforms including Quantum and Balance Sheet Management (formerly Ambit Focus) platforms would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge and experience on APS 117, APS 210 and other regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience on using data analytic techniques, including SQL, to extract insights from large datasets.
  • Worked with multiple project stakeholders (technical and business) to gather and write clear, concise and complete detailed technical requirements documentation.
  • Ability to work with the business to define and own the definition and priority of requirements.
