About the role

We are transforming, modernising, and simplifying and you can be part of that!  Join our Information Security Practice to work closely with the technology and business units to provide expert Information Security consultancy and guidance to assist them to make informed decisions regarding risks and security controls. You’ll get broad exposure in this role working as you will be involved in the delivery of multiple projects and be the security touch point for key initiatives.

In this role you’ll get to:

  • Facilitate the execution of the information security risk assessments to address information risk and security requirements.
  • Provide guidance to technology functions on the identification, prioritisation, and remediation of information security weaknesses within the organisation’s IT assets, architectures, and processes.
  • Support the continuous improvement of information security services and align maturity of services against industry practices and business requirements.
  • Use security architecture patterns and produce security control designs against solution architecture.
  • Maintain an understanding of information security trends and threat intelligence, ensuring threats and controls are understood.

About you

Ideally, you’ll have a background in security architecture and/or security solutioning, design working with security products and concepts. And have experience working with security policies, principles, and standards.

You will have:

  • Experience with design, development and implementation of management frameworks, standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Up to date knowledge of information security industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to financial institutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills including the ability to influence and consult when required.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and/or securing cloud solutions with security best practices with an understanding of security related technology, trends, and threats.
  • An understanding of key AGILE concepts and/or experience in operating in an AGILE environment.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA or CRISC would be desirable.
