As a Business Relationship Manager, you will manage a portfolio of small business clients with complex credit needs. You will establish client relationships, manage credit quality, and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders. Identify opportunities for expansion in the Small Business sector include building localized programs to improve the profile of small enterprises, deepen current partnerships, and attract new clients.

 

In this dynamic and high-impact role, you’ll make your mark by:

  • Identifying opportunities to deepen customer relationships and referring business opportunities as appropriate.
  • Build strong customer relationships, focused on understanding the customer, their current and future needs.
  • Achieve individual and contributing to team sales targets.
  • Worke closely with stakeholders to identify, develop, and implement appropriate sales, marketing and engagement plans, designed to achieve successful outcomes for our customers, communities, people and the Bank.
  • Undertake effective business development, networking, and prospecting activities to build a strong pipeline.

 

This is a full time, permanent position based in Wagga Wagga NSW, noting flexible work options are available. At times you will work from branches in the region to better service your customers and strengthen the relationship with the consumer team.

 

What you’ll bring to the role

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in business, finance, or a related discipline
  • The ability to undertake travel and possession of a current driver licence

 

We would also love you to have:

  • Demonstrated expertise in business lending and credit risk principles
  • Financial analysis skills, including the ability to analyse and interpret financial statements
  • Up-to-date knowledge of local market conditions, business products, cash flows etc
  • The ability to think outside the square to develop innovative, customer-centric solutions
