About the opportunity

We are accelerating our cloud first model, modernising and simplifying and you can be part of that!

Join our Cloud Engineering Platforms team to provide technical design guidance as well as lead our cloud engineers from a technical perspective. This is a great opportunity as you will join a well-respected and supportive team who help underpin our cloud environment and platform. You’ll help shape our cloud environment by providing technical leadership and thought leadership on continually evolving technologies and trends. This role has no direct reports.

You will get the opportunity to work with the newest technologies, mentor others whilst also having access to learning and development platforms plus the opportunity to get further certified in cloud technologies.

If you enjoy designing and building great technology whilst collaborating and leading others, our community is a place you’ll thrive.

In this role you’ll get to…

  • Plan, design, implement and support cloud-based platforms and tools.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and implement optimal cloud-based solutions.
  • Manage cloud environments in accordance with enterprise security architectures.

What you’ll bring to the role

You're a Technical Lead/Lead Engineer who wants to stay close to tech whilst providing technical leadership to a team. You'll challenge ideas so that we can build the best possible solution.

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Advanced understanding of the practical use of emerging technologies.
  • Expertise with modern programming/scripting languages such as Python, Go, and PowerShell.
  • You’ll have the ability to work with various stakeholders, have a positive mindset, and you can adapt to change and lead others with confidence.

So, why work with us?

  • Want big impact that matters? Here, you’ll know your work directly benefits the customers and communities we all serve.
  • Want to be more than just a number? Join a team that truly values you – and that gets more and more diverse every day.
