As Liquidity Analyst you’ll make an impact by:

  • supporting the team with the day-to-day measurement, analysis and reporting of the Bank’s liquidity position and meeting the Bank’s regulatory reporting requirements under APS 210 Liquidity.
  • being involved in all aspects of developing and enhancing the Bank’s quantitative liquidity modelling infrastructure to maximise the benefits for all areas of the Bank.
  • Data Analyst – Liquidity data mining and data analysis
  • Supporting other team functions including system architecture and design, data within the systems and data extraction and utilization

This is a permanent full-time position. We offer flexible work options that put our people first, and a hybrid model of minimum three days per week based out of our Melbourne, Adelaide, or Bendigo corporate office.

 

What you’ll bring to the role

To succeed in this role, we’d love you to have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Banking and Finance, Commerce, Risk Management, Information Technology or a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics or Actuarial Science is preferred &/or 2-3 years of relevant banking experience
  • Proficiency in coding, with R and/or SQL advantageous
  • Highly skilled Microsoft Excel user with experience in a wide variety of Excel functions, building complex formulas and the use of multi-sheet and multi-workbook reporting frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Power BI highly regarded
  • Knowledge of APS 210 Liquidity highly regarded.
  • Quantitative analytical capability highly regarded.
  • Previous Treasury experience highly regarded, especially Liquidity Risk
  • Team player, curious, with a collaboration approach and drive to learn and grow
