We’ve never been ‘just a bank’. Just like you should never be ‘just an employee’. We’re united in our belief that in banking, better can be bigger, and together we’re making it happen.

It starts here. With Bendigo Bank… and you.

Success for the IR and ESG Department is to continue to drive positive outcomes while engaging with active and potential shareholders which align to Bendigo’s business strategy.  Join a small, non-hierarchical team that are collaborative, support each other, and incredibly passionate about making a difference! Be part of an organisation where your input is valued and the work you do will make a real impact for climate change, now and for the future.

The role of Climate Action Specialist (B&A) is responsible for partnering with the Business and Agribusiness (B&A) division to bring their climate approach to life.

  • Drive the development of the required two Transition Plans in B&A, alongside target setting.
  • Responsible for the Bank’s climate governance, including the management of associated working groups and outputs, climate reporting (both internal Executive and Board Reporting and the external Climate-related Disclosure), and climate projects outlined in the CNAP (for example, the Bank’s approach to nature risk).
  • Support the B&A division in the delivery of the broader CNAP and ESG & Sustainability Business Plan, partnering on sustainability initiatives (including Modern Slavery), conducting research to support the division, sourcing inputs into reporting and tactical implementation of the ESG & Sustainability Communications and Capability Plan.
