Part of the Finance Division, Group Reporting creates a Centre of Excellence for our stakeholders (from across all divisions) that provides access to trusted, and value add Business Intelligence capability that enables data driven operational and strategic decision making.

 

The Business Intelligence Analyst you’ll get to:

• Design and develop dashboards and visualisations that are engaging and in consideration of user experience.
• Continuously develop skills to support effective and efficient provision of Business Intelligence services in a volume pace with execution discipline
• Undertake data modelling to connect various internal and external data sources.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrate an understanding and commitment to the Bank’s goals and objectives.
• Implement standards and process improvements where financial and statistical deficiencies have been identified.

This is a 12 month fixed term position.  We offer flexible work options that put our people first, and a hybrid model of minimum three days per week based out of our Melbourne, Adelaide, Bendigo, Brisbane or Sydney corporate office.

 

 

What you’ll bring to the role

You will have experience in a role focused on Business Intelligence / Reporting / Analytics / or equivalent.

To be successful in the role you will have:

• Demonstrated experience in developing data models and data visualisations using Business Intelligence software such as Power BI.
• Demonstrated database query experience such as SQL Server and Oracle.
• Experience with Power BI Service will be highly regarded.
• Ability to adapt analytical insight to effectively communicate findings appropriate for the audience.
• Outcome driven, with a persistent focus on leveraging technology to drive customer and business value.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted and effective working relationships across the organisation.
• Ability to deliver at pace and quality  in a high volume environment
