Are you detail oriented, a problem solver and can pick new systems up quickly?

It starts here. With Bendigo Bank… and you.

Internally known as an Agribusiness Support Officer / Loan Services Officer you will assist with developing and maintaining effective relationships with Sales and Distribution staff, whist concurrently liaising with various stakeholders (internal / external) to ensure seamless end to end settlement processing for our customers, nationally.

You will bring your relationship building skills to maintain strong relationships both within your team, and across the wider Business and Agribusiness Team and stakeholders. These stakeholders include our Government partners, customers, solicitors and advisors.

Furthermore, you will bring your keen eye for detail, recommend alternative solutions based on changing customer or business needs, all whilst delivering a professional customer experience.

In the case of Exceptions/Escalated Issues, you are proactive to deal with them promptly and viable solutions are put forward and implemented so as to avoid these being repeated. You will work with our risk partners and stakeholders to ensure a positive outcome for the business and our customers.

  • To succeed in this role, we'd love you to have:
    • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. This is key to success in both customer and stakeholder interactions.
    • A proactive, innovative approach to delivering exceptional customer service, even under pressure. We value a "go the extra mile" attitude.
    • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately within tight deadlines. Attention to detail is crucial.
    • (Desirable, not essential): Experience in banking/finance, knowledge of the Consumer Credit Code and Banking Code of Practice, loan securities, land titles, property/stamp duty legislation, and loan processing/security documentation.
    • While experience is valued, we prioritise mindset and potential — we warmly welcome graduates or early-career candidates who can learn quickly and adapt to new systems.

We have several full-time, 12-month contract opportunities available and offer flexible work options that put our people first with a hybrid model of minimum 60% (2 days a week) on site attendance.

So, why work with us?
