Are you ready to lead the charge in transforming how BEN works? Harnessing automation and human collaboration to deliver smarter, faster and simpler experiences to millions.

It starts here. With Bendigo Bank… and you.

As our Automation Delivery Lead, you’ll be at the heart of BEN’s enterprise-wide transformation, enabling teams to deliver automation solutions that simplify processes and improve customer experiences. You’ll act as a servant leader, guiding agile teams, removing blockers, and ensuring initiatives deliver real value across the bank.

This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies including RPA, AI, APIs, and Appian BPM to drive efficiency and innovation. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across divisions, helping prioritise and sequence projects for maximum impact. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy orchestrating complex projects, and love turning ideas into measurable outcomes, this is the role for you.

You’ll help shape how we work, influence ways of delivering value, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Your work will directly impact both customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Join a team that’s passionate about transformation, innovation, and delivering better outcomes for all.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate agile delivery teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise initiatives, manage dependencies, and drive automation solutions that deliver measurable efficiency gains.
  • Oversee project planning, risk management, and delivery reporting, ensuring teams are supported, informed, and empowered to succeed.

To succeed in this role, we’d love you to have:

  • Proven experience leading or participating in agile teams, delivering complex IT or automation projects.
  • Strong understanding of automation technologies, including RPA, AI, APIs, and BPM platforms.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery focus.
  • Certification or experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PMP).

We offer flexible work options that put our people first and a hybrid model of minimum 60% on site attendance in a local Head Office.

This role is a Full-time (76 hours per f/n) role on a 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract based at any of our head office locations (see locations here)
