About the Team

The Partner Assist Team is a multi-channel service functions that supports our third-party mortgage distributions teams, their brokers and partners around our propriety brand and white label programs.

As a Business Development Associate reporting to the Team Manager Partner Assist, you are essential in delivering an exceptional and seamless end to end services experience for our mortgage brokers and partners with the home loan application journey and strengthen our broker relationships.

You’ll get to

  • Provide end to end application support by guiding brokers through the entire loan process from onboarding new brokers, pre-submission inquires through to post -settlement matters
  • Provide expert guidance acting as a subject matter expert for brokers, regarding our lending systems, residential products and credit policies
  • Provide proactive engagement assisting brokers, partners and internal teams via inbound/outbound calls, emails and webchat
  • Build effective and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Due to internal movements, we currently have 1 x permanent full- time and 3 x 12-month fixed term full time opportunities. We offer a flexible hybrid work model, and you will be located at either the Adelaide or Melbourne Corporate Offices

About you

To be successful you will have: 

  • Previous residential lending experience with an understanding of credit policy
  • Knowledge of and / or experience within the Mortgage Broker industry is highly describable
  • Banking experience with experience and or understanding of Third-Party Lending
  • Extensive customer service skills with an exposure to call centre environments ideal
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and self-sufficient
  • Strong time management and the ability to multi-task
  • High level of professionalism, ability to work autonomously while contributing to team goals.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new platforms and systems easily
