It starts here. With Bendigo Bank… and you.

Retail Banking has a responsibility to support our customers to improve their financial wellbeing, and in turn become Australia’s bank of choice. We do this through building and maintaining relationships and are there to help customers when they are ready to make their big financial decisions in a way that is convenient for them. We have a proven track record of supporting and contributing towards our communities to achieve big things.

The Sales Enablement Team exists to support the Consumer Banking network and its leaders in the achievement of our growth objectives, to drive enhanced productivity and to ensure the delivery of our customer value proposition.

Reporting to the Head of Sales Enablement your core purpose is to design, implement, and optimise customer engagement campaigns that empower our frontline teams to connect meaningfully with customers, ultimately enhancing their experience. This involves developing compelling communication strategies, optimising campaign performance through data-driven insights, and fostering strong cross-functional stakeholder relationships.

You'll champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring seamless adoption of campaigns by employees and driving business outcomes. This role will also contribute to broader customer experience uplift initiatives, and support overall sales enablement strategies. You'll foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the bank’s engagement strategies.

To succeed in this role, we’d love you to have:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of customer facing process and systems in order to design customer engagement activities.
  • Advanced understanding of marketing and campaign management principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience developing effective customer acquisition, retention and deepening campaigns.
  • Experience working with business leaders.
  • Previous experience working in or with a retail distribution network.
  • Tertiary degree qualifications in Business, Marketing or related discipline preferred.

This role is a Permanent, Full-time role based at any of our head office locations.

We offer flexible work options that put our people first, working in a hybrid model with a minimum local Head Office attendance requirement determined by your Leader, to find a rhythm that works best for you and your team. We believe that coming into the office some of the time is the best way to learn, stay connected and collaborate effectively, especially for key activities like team days, 1:1s, and town halls.

So, why work for us?

With over 2.9 million customers, we are one of Australia’s largest retail banks with a vision our purpose – ‘to feed into the prosperity of our customers and communities, not off it’. We are regularly voted one of Australia’s most trusted brands and this isn’t something we take lightly, which means Bendigo Bank is the Bank you can be proud to work at!

We believe a diverse workforce supported by an inclusive culture is central to our success and we actively encourage applications from those who bring diversity of thought to our business.
