About the Opportunity

As our Channel Manager for Equipment Finance, you will be the expert voice and strategic driver for this critical product suite. Your role is twofold: you will not only build a strong pipeline of new-to-bank customers through direct interaction but also act as a trusted advisor, educating and empowering our Business Bankers, Agribusiness Bankers, and retail network. You will provide them with the insights and skills to identify and execute equipment finance opportunities, ensuring we deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers.

You’ll make your mark by:

• Driving Growth: Identify, develop, and lead business development activities, building a robust pipeline of Equipment Finance opportunities.
• Empowering Stakeholders: Provide expert education, market insights, and training to our diverse banking network, uplifting their capability and confidence in Equipment Finance.
• Building Relationships: Forge and maintain strong relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and external industry experts to maximise growth and success.
• Innovating and Enhancing: Research market trends and propose enhancements to our products and services, ensuring we remain a leader in the industry.
• Executing with Excellence: Structure and execute equipment finance transactions that meet the capital expenditure needs of our valued business and agribusiness customers.

What you’ll bring to the role

You are a seasoned professional with a passion for finance and a proven ability to build relationships and drive results. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are known for your commercial acumen and innovative thinking.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience in the Equipment Finance industry is essential.
• A strong track record in channel management, specialised product sales, or a similar role within financial services.
• Proven success in the business and agribusiness sectors.
• Exceptional communication, networking, and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to work autonomously, think strategically, and keep abreast of industry changes.
• A tertiary qualification in a business or finance-related discipline.
