Our Credit Policy team are a small collaborative, cohesive and relationship driven team who lead the formulation and administration of the Bank’s credit risk policy and framework.  The team ensures the Bank has a regulatory compliant policy framework, with a credit risk profile within its risk appetite and to support achievement of its business objectives.

 

As a Credit Policy Manager you’ll make an impact by developing, maintaining and supporting the Bank’s Credit Policy framework, policies and standards including consumer and commercial lending.

This is a permanent full-time position. We offer flexible work options that put our people first, and a hybrid model of minimum three days per week based out of our Melbourne, Adelaide, Bendigo, Ballarat, Brisbane or Sydney corporate office.

 

 

What you’ll bring to the role

To succeed in this role, we’d love you to have:

  • Strategic thinking including a flexible approach to problem solving and sound analytical skills
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication styles to suit varying audiences
  • Collaborative approach to working with key stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively balance competing time demands and prioritise work for the best overall individual and team outcomes
  • Policy, lending, credit decisioning or credit risk management background
  • Understanding of industry best practice credit or other policies and procedures
  • Experience in project-based work

 

While not essential, it would be great if you had:

  • Tertiary qualifications relevant banking or financial
