Are you detail oriented, a problem solver and can pick new systems up quickly?

It starts here. With Bendigo Bank… and you.

At Bendigo Bank, we're committed to providing exceptional service and support to our customers. Our Operations, Processing & Servicing (OPS) team plays a crucial role in achieving this goal by ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our products and services. As a Loan Services Officer within the Retail Settlements team, you'll be a key contributor to this success, directly impacting the financial journeys of our customers. You'll work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to process loan settlements accurately and efficiently, ensuring a seamless experience for everyone involved. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your skills and experience in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Your work will be vital to the success of our retail lending operations. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of loan settlements, working closely with solicitors, other financial institutions, and internal teams. You'll play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive their funds promptly and that all necessary documentation is correctly completed and filed. This is a challenging yet fulfilling role that offers a unique opportunity to make a significant contribution to a customer-centric organisation. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and efficiency are paramount, this is the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently process loan settlements: Collaborate with solicitors, financial institutions, and agents to finalise loan settlements, ensuring timely and accurate funding.
  • Manage security documentation: Maintain meticulous records of security documents and assets, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and internal procedures.
  • Master our internal systems: You'll become proficient in using our internal systems to efficiently process financial transactions and generate electronic registration instruments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in every step. Full training will be provided.
To succeed in this role, we'd love you to have:
  • Proven experience: Prior experience in loan processing, security documentation, or conveyancing is highly desirable. Familiarity with land titles, property legislation, and stamp duty is a significant advantage.
  • Exceptional attention to detail: You're a meticulous individual with a high level of accuracy and a commitment to quality in every task you undertake.
  • Strong communication & collaboration: You're a confident communicator who can build rapport with internal and external stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and achieving seamless collaboration.
  • While experience is valued, we prioritise mindset and potential — we warmly welcome graduates or early-career candidates who can learn quickly and adapt to new systems.

We offer flexible work options that put our people first and a hybrid model of minimum 60% (3 days a week) on site attendance.

This is a Full-time, 12-Month Contract available, based at any of any of our head office locations (Ideally Bendigo, Adelaide or Melbourne)
