We’ve never been ‘just a bank’. Just like you should never be ‘just an employee’. We’re united in our belief that in banking, better can be bigger, and together we’re making it happen.

It starts here. With Bendigo Bank… and you.

We are embarking on a significant transformation of our risk function to build a more resilient and future-focused bank.  This is your opportunity to join our well-established Financial Risk Modelling (FRM) team, a collaborative group responsible for the development, monitoring, and management of the bank's quantitative risk models.

The Manager FRM you’ll play a pivotal role in developing, enhancing, and owning the bank's decision management, IRB, Collective Provisioning (CP), and Stress Testing (ST) models.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leveraging the Bank’s Internal Rating Based (IRB) models for AASB9 collective provisioning
  • Governance & Documentation
  • Develop, implement, and maintain PD, LGD, EAD and expected life models for IFRS 9 compliance and calculation of lifetime losses.
  • Design and implement credit risk stress testing models for internal and external regulatory stress testing purposes.
  • Review and expand on current model monitoring for AASB 9
  • Develop dashboards with triggers to monitor model performance, discuss the results monthly with the senior management and committees.
