We're looking for a creative and driven Principal Engineer to join our mission. In this role, you won’t just be a coder or a strategist; you'll be both. As our one of our most senior technical expert in the Cyber Defence domain, you'll have the autonomy to architect, design, and build the secure, scalable, and resilient platforms that protect our customers and our business. In this role you’ll get to…

• Lead the design and evolution of our core cyber defence systems and platforms.
• Champion and embed modern engineering best practices in security, testing, and CI/CD.
• Mentor and coach our engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Tackle our most complex security challenges, working across teams to reduce risk and deliver robust solutions.
• Shape our long-term technical vision for information protection, acting as a trusted advisor to leadership.

What you’ll bring to the role 

To be successful in the role you will have:

• Deep expertise in designing scalable, resilient, and robust blueprints for systems. 
• Proficient in designing and implementing automation solutions for zero-touch operations, automated scaling, and self-healing capabilities, leveraging tools like Terraform for infrastructure as code, and managing container orchestration with Kubernetes. 
• Ability to tackle ambiguous and formidable technical challenges, untangling complex problems to create elegant solutions. 
• Hands-on ability to write high-impact, elegant code, including core libraries, infrastructure-as-code modules, and proof-of-concepts, integrated into CI/CD pipelines. 
• Skilled in researching, prototyping, and adopting new and emerging technologies and paradigms.
