About the role  

As our Product Manager – Risk and Compliance you will report to the Senior Manager - Product Delivery and will focus on addressing risk & compliance obligations and assisting the product management teams to resolve events and issues.

You will play an important part in ensuring that our team completes timely resolution of events and continuous improvement to practices mitigating risk. You will also ensure products are delivered to market as expected and that the day-to-day aspects of product management process and governance are completed meeting our obligations.

Within this role you will work with the Product teams to resolve risk events in a timely manner and co-ordinate a review of the event to determine a plan for resolution. In doing this, you will ensure risk events are well documented and relevant stakeholders engaged through the process and you will provide advice and challenge to the business in the development of treatment and remediation plans.

As our new Product Manager, you will undertake the review of products, processes, and policies to capture and implement opportunities for incremental improvements in line with the Product Lifecycle Framework with guidance from your leader and peers when required.

About you 

As our new Product Manager – Risk and Compliance you will bring the following skills:

  • Knowledge and understanding of banking products and services, ideally aligned to the defined product set.
  • Adaptable with ability to grasp new concepts quickly
  • High level numerical calculation and reasoning
  • An understanding of legal and regulatory environment for Financial Services
  • Exposure to key areas of product management and risk and compliance. 
  • Experience in working with key stakeholders across the business, ideally with strategic relationship experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

We offer flexible work options that put our people first and a hybrid model of minimum 60% on site attendance (as of July 1st) in a local Head Office p/week

This role is permanent, full time role based at any of our head office locations
