“It begins at Bendigo Bank”

We’ve never been ‘just a bank’. Just like you should never be ‘just an employee’. We’re united in our belief that in banking, better can be bigger, and together we’re making it happen.

It starts here. With Bendigo Bank… and you.

About the opportunity

This role sits within our Technology division, which is charged with the transformation of our business and the running of our technology systems. Our journey to transform BEN into a bigger, better, stronger, and more impactful business is built on solid foundations, and we are radically simplifying our business, modernising our technology, and digitising our customer journeys.

As a Senior Change Analyst, you will be the storyteller behind seamless transitions—the linchpin that ensures projects don't just deliver but deliver change that sticks. You will thrive on solving complex problems, connecting with people, and seeing tangible results from your efforts. In this role, you'll be the trusted advisor who helps bring transformative projects to life, ensuring no detail—or person—is left behind.

In this role you’ll get to…

  • Conduct thorough change impact analyses to identify areas of focus and anticipate resistance.
  • Support the development of tailored change strategies and plans that align with project objectives and stakeholder needs.
  • Create and execute communication plans that keep everyone in the loop and foster buy-in.
  • Develop learning and support materials and deliver sessions that equip people with the skills and knowledge to succeed in new ways of working.
  • Track adoption rates and effectiveness of change initiatives, providing feedback and course corrections where needed.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance change management tools and techniques for continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring to the role

To be successful in the role you will have…

  • A solid understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools, with experience applying them to real-world projects.
  • Proven experience in change management roles delivering change as part of cross-functional project teams.
  • Skill in assessing change impacts, risks, and readiness, and translating insights into actionable plans.
  • Adeptness at running workshops, focus groups, and training sessions that engage and energize participants.
  • Comfort using data to measure adoption, engagement, and effectiveness of change initiatives.
  • Experience working in fast-paced project environments, with a clear understanding of the project lifecycle and how change integrates within it.

 So, why work with us?

  • Want big impact that matters? Here, you’ll know your work directly benefits the customers and communities we all serve.
  • Want to be more than just a number? Join a team that truly values you – and that gets more and more diverse every day.
  • Want career opportunity AND flexibility? Achieve both here, where we know that balance and progression go hand in hand.

You’ll also get access to a great range of benefits, including:

  • Hybrid work? Flexible hours? A compressed work week? Our flexible work options are designed to suit your life.  We offer flexible work options that put our people first, working in a hybrid model with a minimum local Head Office attendance requirement determined by your Leader, to find a rhythm that works best for you and your team.  We believe that coming into the office some of the time is the best way to learn, stay connected and collaborate effectively, especially for key activities like team days, 1:1s, and town halls.
  • Health and well-being support, including discounted gym memberships, private health insurance options, and our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your immediate family members.
  • Take your learning to the next level through opportunities like our corporate university ‘BEN U’ or at an external provider of your choice.

We’re making better, bigger. And we’ll get there with you

Could you be our newest team member? Now’s the time to set your sights even higher – on the future you and the future career you deserve.  Please note shortlisting and interviews may take place prior to the advertised close date, so don't delay apply now!

We believe a diverse workforce supported by an inclusive culture is central to our success and we actively encourage applications from those who bring diversity of thought to our business. We support candidate requests for adjustment to accommodate an illness, injury, or disability to equitably participate in the selection process.

Still in two minds?

Research suggests 60% of women and underrepresented groups might stop here, even after getting as far as drafting an application. We believe that diversity makes every team stronger, so even if you don’t tick every box we still want to see your application!

We love the support recruitment agencies give our businesses every day, however, we have got this.  Our superstar talent advisors will reach out to our fabulous panel if we need a helping hand.
