  • Shape the Future: Contribute to the development and implementation of our credit risk strategy, policies, and frameworks, with a focus on modernisation and innovation.
  • Collaborate and Influence: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Regional Managers and Head of Third-Party Distribution, and act as a trusted advisor on credit risk matters.
  • Enhance Customer Experience: Champion initiatives to improve the customer journey, from acquisition to retention, ensuring a high level of service and support.
  • Uphold Our Values: Consistently demonstrate our core values and critical behaviours: act commercially, move fast to help customers, recognise people for their impact, and actively challenge the status quo.

To Succeed, What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in a senior credit risk role within a financial services organisation, with a significant Delegated Lending Authority (DLA) in commercial/business banking.
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing and mentoring others.
  • A deep understanding of credit risk management strategies, banking policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships.
  • A forward-thinking mindset with an interest in emerging technologies like AI and automation in credit risk.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline are highly desirable.
