Your Impact: Driving Excellence

As a Senior Manager Service Provider Risk, you will be a subject matter expert and a key driver of our function's success. You will:

  • Take ownership and continuous improvement of the end-to-end Service Provider Risk Framework.
  • Act as a trusted 2LOD advisor, delivering targeted assurance and independent reviews to assess risk maturity and compliance.
  • Champion a group-wide uplift in risk culture by supporting business units, managing risk tooling, and providing expert training.
  • Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships, providing robust advice and effective challenge to drive risk management best practices.
  • Deliver critical reporting on service provider risk and controls to executive committees and governance bodies, ensuring issues are effectively remediated.

This is a permanent position based out of our Melbourne, Bendigo, Adelaide or Sydney offices.

What you’ll bring to the role

To thrive in this role, you are an accomplished risk professional with a passion for your field and a proactive, curious mindset. We are looking for:

  • Deep Service Provider Risk Expertise: 5+ years in financial services, including 3+ years in a service provider risk or assurance role, with strong knowledge of risk frameworks and CPS230 compliance.
  • Proven 2LOD & Assurance Skills: Demonstrated experience performing second-line assurance and reviews to assess and uplift the effectiveness of risk management frameworks.
  • Influential Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with a proven ability to build relationships, act as a trusted advisor, and drive change across all levels of the business.
  • Analytical & Strategic Mindset: An inquisitive and data-driven approach, using analytics and judgment to identify thematic risks, solve complex problems, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Proactive & Adaptable Self-Starter: A demonstrated ability to manage complex deliverables in a fast-paced environment, with the initiative to adapt to changing business needs and influence strategic outcomes.
