Ready to Drive Real Impact in Australian Communities?

At Bendigo Bank, we’re not just building a bigger bank; we’re building a better one. Guided by our vision to be Australia’s bank of choice, we are committed to enhancing the prosperity and sustainability of the communities we serve. We believe that to achieve our ambitious growth strategy, we need a team of passionate, commercially minded people who actively challenge the status quo.

This is more than a job. This is your opportunity to be part of something bigger.

It starts here. With Bendigo Bank… and you.

As a Senior Relationship Associate, you will be a vital force supporting our elite Senior Property Relationship Managers. This role is built for a highly skilled professional who excels at engaging with complex property customers and thrives on providing solutions. You are the critical link between our frontline bankers and our support teams, ensuring a seamless and exceptional customer experience from start to finish.

In a culture that values teamwork, integrity, and performance, you will be empowered to make a tangible difference. You won't just be supporting transactions; you'll be building lasting relationships and helping our customers achieve their goals, all while charting your own clear career path towards a Relationship Manager role.

How You’ll Make Your Mark:

  • Empower Our Bankers: Act as the trusted partner to our Senior Property Relationship Managers, enabling them to manage a diverse and complex customer portfolio with lending up to $25m.
  • Deepen Customer Relationships: Go beyond the surface to understand customer needs, providing tailored solutions from our complete suite of Business and Agribusiness products to drive growth and advocacy.
  • Master the Process: Take ownership of the end-to-end process, from onboarding new customers and managing the entire loan application—including financial analysis and credit submissions—to providing ongoing, best-in-class portfolio maintenance.
  • Champion a Customer-First Culture: Build powerful relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, embedding our value proposition to make business personal and actively contributing to our division's strategy.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • A strong background in business/commercial lending, with a solid grasp of credit risk principles and the ability to interpret complex financial statements.
  • An advanced understanding of the end-to-end lending process and a drive to achieve first-time capability in all applications.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a proactive and self-motivated style.
  • A strategic mindset and the ability to organize, prioritise, and execute with flawless attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for challenging the status quo and collaborating to deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions.

Why Choose Bendigo Bank?

  • Purposeful Impact: See the direct results of your work in the success of your customers and the prosperity of our communities. This is work that truly matters.
  • A Culture of Value: Join a team that genuinely cares, where your impact is recognised, and your voice is heard. Our strength lies in our diverse and inclusive environment.
  • Growth and Flexibility: We are committed to your development. With access to our corporate university, ‘BEN U,’ and a clear career pathway, your growth is a priority. Our hybrid model and flexible work options are designed to help you balance a rewarding career with a fulfilling life.
