We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Information Security Architect to join our team and contribute to ongoing projects as well as the information security program. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that cyber security requirements, both internally and for APRA (Australian Prudential Regulation Authority), are met throughout the program. You will play a crucial role in identifying potential vulnerabilities, negotiating appropriate security solution’s, developing security requirements, designing security controls, and monitoring the program's compliance with established security standards.  Click here for more info about our InfoSec team.

In this role you’ll get to…

  • Assess the existing security infrastructure and identify potential vulnerabilities within the program/project.
  • Advise projects and market activities of security requirements to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.
  • Contribute to architectural activities on initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to convert business requirements into key architectural decisions and solution architecture documentation.
  • Provide necessary leadership, analysis and design tasks related to support the development of technology solutions to ensure that solutions meet business needs and align with architectural governance and standards.
  • Participate in governance activities associated with ensuring solutions architecture assurance and compliance.
  • Ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state vision. 

What you’ll bring to the role 

Experience in information security solution architecture and design roles. Identity & Access Management using EntraID and leading IAM solutions experience is desirable.

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Strong understanding of cyber security principles, standards, and best practices.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, such as APRA guidelines.
  • Experience in conducting security assessments, audits, and risk management processes.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing security controls, protocols, and architectures.
  • Familiarity with security incident response and investigation procedures.
  • Certifications in the following: Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Information Security Manager (CISM), Ethical Hacker (CEH) or CompTIA Security+ is preferred.
